Siena
Siena is a city that remains intact from the middle age till today. It has "jumped" the Renaissance and all of this that it has come later. It is a prodigy of city by now escaped, body and spirit, to the weight of the time.
Siena must be visited afoot. There is no best way to know a "special" city like Siena. The Sena Vetus extends on three hills. Known as the city of the Gotic, Siena has preserved intact the medieval aspect. It knew moments of shining in 1200 and in 1300, the decadence it began starting from the second half of 1500.
